You hear it all the time, “He doesn’t make me happy,” “She doesn’t make me happy,” “My job doesn’t make me happy,” “This place makes me unhappy,” “If I just had a million bucks, I could be happy,” etc., etc. We all have a tendency to place the responsibility of our happiness on having the right things, or in the hands of someone else.
